Mangaluru (Karnataka), May 25 (ANI): While speaking on the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) and the Bajrang Dal performing ‘Thamboola Prashne’ at a village in Karnataka, Mangaluru Police Commissioner NS Kumar on May 25 informed that the situation is peaceful in the city, and that police force has been deployed in the necessary areas. “Situation is peaceful. Hindu organisations held a ritual today that started at 8.30 am and continued till 11 am. Force has been deployed wherever necessary. Villagers ensured no untoward incident will happen. Both parties have agreed to fight it in court,” the Police Commissioner said.
