President Droupadi Murmu to open rechristened Mughal Gardens tomorrow

New Delhi, January 28 (ANI): President Droupadi Murmu will grace the opening of the ‘Amrit Udyan’ on January 29. Rashtrapati Bhavan is home to a rich variety of gardens and President Droupadi Murmu has given a common name to the iconic gardens as 'Amrit Udyan', formerly known as Mughal Gardens. The rechristening keeps in time with the celebrations of 75 years of Independence as 'Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav'. ‘Amrit Udyan’ will open for public on January 31.
