Over 140 NDRF teams engaged in rescue operations, says DG Pradhan

New Delhi, July 25 (ANI): National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) Director General SN Pradhan on July 25 said that over 140 teams have been deployed for rescue and relief operations in flood-ravaged parts of Maharashtra, Karnataka and Telangana. He said, “The situation in Maharashtra, Karnataka and Telangana continues to be serious because of over flooding, water logging and continuous rains. The rescue operation is proving to be difficult but we are continuing our work. All over the India more than 140 NDRF teams are working and they will continue work till the situation is normal. We have rescued thousands of people and the death toll is more than 100”.
