Shopian (J&K), Dec 05 (ANI): Tribal Research Institute organised a day-long awareness camp cum workshop on welfare schemes for tribals in J&K. It was organised in collaboration with the Department of Tribal Affairs at Government Degree College in Shopian. It aimed at creating awareness among students so that they took benefit of these scholarship schemes. These initiatives have been taken by the UT government under the guidance of LG to uplift the ST community and other weaker sections. Teachers and tribal students lauded the move.
