New Delhi (ANI) January 26, 2023: The Airports Authority of India celebrated the 74th Republic day at the Air Traffic Control – services building in the capital city. Sanjeev Kumar, the chairman of Airport Authority of India unfurled the national flag to commemorate the occasion. The chairman highlighted Authority’s work towards nation building and ensured that they are carrying out the responsibility of taking Indian aviation sector at par with the world. Emphasizing on the construction and renovation of new airport terminals, the Chairman said that the work of many airports will be completed this year. The authority has undertaken several development works in terms of capacity enhancement and technological up-gradation of passenger terminals at various airports in India. The Digi Yatra scheme launched on 1st of December is another milestone achieved by the Airports Authority of India to make Air travel hassle free. The Airports Authority of India manages 133 airports, including 24 international airports in the country.
