New Delhi, Apr 07 (ANI): Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi said despite saying 'Beta-beti ek samaan', but in our households, there is inequality in the treatment between sons and daughters. “We say 'Beta-beti ek samaan'. But in our households, there is inequality in the treatment meted out to our sons and daughters unknowingly. When that son enters social life, it leads to a possibility of shortcomings from his side towards gender equality,” said PM. Prime Minister appealed parents to not to force values upon their children instead lead by example to inspire them.
