Delhi’s Yamuna Sports Complex turns into COVID centre

New Delhi, Apr 18 (ANI): Amid sudden surge of COVID-19 cases in the national capital, Yamuna Sports Complex has been converted into COVID centre. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also visited and reviewed the facility. The Delhi Government is going to add over 6,000 high-flow oxygen beds will in next 2-3 days at the Complex. Commonwealth Games Village and some schools too will be turned into COVID centres. The COVID facility at Radha Soami Satsang Beas will soon be reopened for the COVID patients. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday regarding ‘serious situation’ in the national capital concerning COVID-19 and highlighted the ‘grave shortage of COVID beds and oxygen supply.’
