Cyclone Jawad: 64 teams available in affected areas, says NDRF DG

New Delhi, Dec 04 (ANI): In view of Cyclone Jawad, Director General of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), Atul Karwal on December 04 said they are prepared for the storm, around 64 teams are available in the affected areas in which 52 teams are deployed and 12 are in reserve. “NDRF is prepared for the Jawad Cyclone. A total of 64 teams are available in the affected areas of West Bengal, Andhra and Odisha of which 52 are deployed. According to IMD, the intensity of cyclone and wind speed has reduced and is around 200 km from Visakhapatnam,” said NDRF DG.
