COVID scare: Chhattisgarh CM Baghel slams Centre over vaccine shortage

Updated:1 month, 1 week ago

Raipur (Chhattisgarh), May 13 (ANI): Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on May 13 said that the vaccine shortage is somehow affecting the vaccination drive as we don’t have clue when we will receive the next vaccine stock. “Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced the vaccination of people of age group 18-44 from May 1. We got ourselves prepared but we didn’t get vaccines. On May 1, we received 1.5 lakh vaccines and 3.5 lakh doses on May 9 as second stock. We have given orders to Bharat biotech but we don’t have any clue when we will receive the vaccine and it is somehow affecting the vaccination drive,” the minister said.
