New Delhi, Feb 23 (ANI): NITI Aayog member Dr VK Paul during a press conference on the weekly update of COVID-19 on February 23 informed that so far 187 individuals detected with UK strain, 6 people with South African strain and one with Brazilian strain till date. VK Paul said, “There is a very significant, comprehensive tracking of viral strains for such mutants and other mutants. This effort has gathered pace and we have sequenced that 3,500 viruses since then. Today we have 187 individuals detected with UK strain, 6 people with South African variant and one with Brazilian strain till date.”
