National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG) and Wildlife Institute of India (WII) organised a one-day national level seminar on 'Millets for Life (Lifestyle for Environment): Developing Climate Resilient Local Communities in the Ganga Basin' at India International Centre in New Delhi.
The Executive Committee of National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG) approved projects worth around Rs 2,700 crore for developing sewerage infrastructure in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal.
Projects worth Rs 2,700 pertaining to the development of sewerage infrastructure in the river Ganga basin were approved in the latest National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG) meeting.
The award was received by G. Asok Kumar, the Director General of the Namami Gange project during a function at the 15th Conference of Parties (COP15) to the Convention on Biodiversity (CBD) in Montreal, Canada on World Restoration Day on Wednesday.
The top commission also sent notices to the Chief Secretary, the Government of Rajasthan, the Secretary, Higher Education, the Union Ministry of Education, and the Chairperson, of the National Medical Commission, calling for reports.
The impugned Regulations were notified on 04.11.2019 and have restricted the maximum number of attempts to four to clear the first professional university exams. Consequently, the names of these students had been struck off from their respective Medical colleges/universities.
