Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel and Jharkhand police recovered arms and ammunition on Friday after they nabbed a Naxal bunker in the Burha Pahar area.
The police arrested a terrorist identified as Arif who was in contact with the Pakistani handlers for three years. As many as nine people were injured in the twin blasts that occurred in Narwal last month in a gap of 20 minutes.
In a joint operation in Bihar's Maoist-affected Aurangabad, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and Bihar police have seized 162 Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) and other equipment.
The police said that no casualties took place and said that the Shikhamn outpost in charge, Nasir Khan, was on patrol when an improvised explosive device (IED) exploded near his car in the area.
An assistant sub-inspector of CRPF 153 Battalion, Muhd Aslam injured was injured in an IED blast on Saturday. Naxals planted the IED at the Pegdapalli-Sunil post.
