New Delhi [India], Dec 17 (ANI): 'Saturday Night Live' cast member Pete Davidson has paid tribute to his "hero" Hillary Clinton in a special way.

Davidson took to his Instagram to show off his very permanent new homage to "badass" Hillary Clinton - a tattoo of the former secretary of state on his arm!

Alongside the photo, the 24-year-old actor wrote, "Wanted to get @hillaryclinton a Christmas gift so I got a tattoo of my hero. Thanks for being such a badass and one of the strongest people in the universe."

Clinton was quick to respond with a comment on Davidson's post.

She wrote, "Thanks @petedavidson. This makes it significantly less awkward that I've had a Pete Davidson tattoo for years. But serious, I'm honored, Merry Christmas my friend."

Initially, some thought that the photo was some kind of prank. But the tattoo artist confirmed it was real.

Davidson, who joined 'SNL' in 2014, was a vocal supporter of Clinton in the 2016 presidential election.

He also criticised her Republican rival Donald Trump on social media several times throughout the election campaign. (ANI)
